On May 29, 2008, Maureen McTeer, Chair of the Shirley E. Greenberg Women’s Health Centre at the Riverside Hospital in Ottawa, was recognized at the inaugural DIVA Award where she received the DIVA Award for Outstanding Contributions to Women’s Health and Well-Being for her ongoing commitment to promoting women’s health and well-being.
The Right Honourable Beverley McLachlin, Chief Justice of Canada, offered a tribute to Ms. McTeer.
