CRITERIA FOR RECEIVING FUNDS FROM THE DIVA FOUNDATION

As specified in By-law No 2 of The DIVA Foundation, the objectives of the Foundation are to further advance the public’s education on matters concerning the health and well-being of women.

Any donee or qualified donee as defined in the Canadian Income Tax Act (a registered Canadian charity) must contribute to the advancement of women’s health and well-being through:

a structured training or education program offered by universities, colleges and/or other formal educational institutions;
the establishment of academic chairs and lectureships;
research conducted by research scholars, scientists and academics;
the advancement of science in scientific institutions considered qualified donees; and
scholastic or scientific achievements of individuals involved in advancing research and education.
